To be a successful hunter, it's necessary to know that deer manage to stay alive by avoiding predators. If you plan on hunting in an area that you've never been to before, you should certainly scout the land beforehand to know all the areas of the deer would probably go to.
More likely though, you won't even notice a fall turkey reacting to your calls. The hen, or female pheasant is smaller than the rooster. If you are hunting squirrels or grouse, you will need a different gun than if you are hunting elk or bear.
Coon hunting is a great challenge because raccoons are agile creatures and are really fast because of their size and weight. You must do everything that you can to keep your movement at a minimum level. Be sure to take into account the route to your stand to make sure it did not cross the deer's traveled route.
Furs are often being used for making coats and other garments which are of great value. Many courses cover hunting laws in your area, which you should be familiar with before you go hunting.
